Originating in Britain in the 1780s, 360 panorama paintings were extremely popular in the first half of the nineteenth century and, after a revival, in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. Over 300 large-scale panoramas were painted worldwide in the course of the nineteenth century, and as m

any as 100 million people worldwide may have viewed one between 1870 and 1900. From the beginning, battle was a popular panorama, well-known surviving examples including those at Gettysburg, Atlanta, Sebastopol, Borodino, and Waterloo. Many of the survivors from the late nineteenth century have been

extensively restored and renovated and presented to new audiences with the all the advantages of modern sound and light systems. It can remain a special experience to visit one. They are still being painted in states such as China, North Korea, and Turkey.As befitted the country where the panorama

phenomenon began, battle panoramas were just as popular in Britain, bringing together art, patriotism and mass entertainment in ways that reinforced Britain’s expanding global presence. Those displayed by Robert Barker, Henry Aston Barker, and Robert Burford at the celebrated Leicester Square rotund

a between 1800 and 1863 included such subjects as the battles of Waterloo (1815) and Sobraon (1846), and the siege of Sebastopol (1854-55). The rival rotunda in Spring Gardens displayed the memorable canvasses of the Scottish artist, Robert Ker Porter, including the storming of Seringapatam (1799) a

nd the battle of Alexandria (1801). During the substantial revival of interest in the last quarter of the nineteenth century, panoramas were devoted to such battles as Balaclava (1854), Tel-el-Kebir (1882), and Omdurman (1898). Throughout the nineteenth century, there were also ’moving’ panoramas -

series of scenes wound between rollers - covering colonial engagements from Africa to India and touring provincial cities and towns. Panorama al-fresco were outdoor extravaganza incorporating painted backdrops, actors and pyrotechnics at venues such as the Royal Surrey Gardens and Belle Vue in Manch

ester. All these artistic forms and the reaction to them on the part of art critics, veterans and the wider public are fully described in this unique contribution to the story of British military art.While panoramas were notoriously prone to destruction from fire and damp, the descriptive keys and g

uides sold to visitors have survived in many collections in Britain and the United States. In some cases print reproductions and preliminary sketches also remain, as well as photographs of three late nineteenth century examples. Fragments of two panoramas are even preserved on the walls of a Scottis

穿梭傳統與現代之間的「雅音小集」(後簡稱「雅音」)創立於1979年,受到時代變遷的影響,挑戰「京劇現代化」之轉變,是臺灣京劇重要的轉捩點,不僅如此,曾受到傳統思維前輩們的撻伐,他們口中的「叛徒」正是「雅音」新編的創作劇目。《再生緣》是「雅音」創作劇目中以京劇小生應功之劇目,此劇源自於清代女作家陳端生自寫憂憤的彈詞小說,編劇王安祈參照丁西林的話劇本、越劇等,改編為京劇版本。1986年《再生緣》由「雅音」郭小莊、曹復永、孫麗虹主演,首演於國父紀念館;之後又於2017年改編為《孟麗君》,由黃詩雅、溫宇航、王璽傑主演,復演於臺北城市舞臺,《孟麗君》是「國光劇團」復排之劇目,與《再生緣》首演相距三十年

之久。以歷時性觀察,「雅音」當年的創新之舉已成為現代所謂的傳統,從而思考京劇傳統程式化的運用,受到現代化的影響之後,對於京劇小生之表演有何改變,這是值得探究的課題。本文論述核心聚焦在京劇小生受到現代化之影響,在表演手法應用的比較與差異,研究者以《再生緣》與《孟麗君》為例,分析劇中小生表演之詮釋方法、表演功法以及其應用等。主要分為三個面向進行論述,其一、初探「京劇現代化」之轉變,從歷史層面探析,統整「京劇現代化」之歷史脈絡,從中瞭解京劇受到現代化之演變過程;其二、《再生緣》為臺灣當代「京劇現代化」初期之實驗劇目,透過此劇之創作背景、故事情節與人物腳色,進而探討劇中以京劇小生表演有關之三折戲為討論

核心,並分析其中有關京劇小生之表演手法、詮釋人物的方法等;其三,《孟麗君》為三十年後復排之劇目,與原創的《再生緣》有所不同,透過兩劇之間的比較,從中梳理京劇小生受到現代化之影響的改變,進而論其傳統與現代表演方面之差異。透過以上的分析與論述,歸納出京劇小生表演藝術的理論與方法,於現代化的影響之下,演員能夠有因應時代進而自我調整的能力,希冀,此資料能作為當代京劇小生進一步發展的基石與參考之借鑑。

摘要全球人口高齡化趨勢從本世紀初演變至今,已成各國政府不得不面對的議題,人口老化對社會造成的衝擊,催生了一些老人福利政策,然而這些福利政策仍然偏重在醫療及經濟的生理需求層面,對於老人認知退化的教育與排遣無聊之休閒生活等心理需求層面較少著墨。本研究旨在開發一套系統性、可攜式之樂齡樂育學習方案,此方案乃觀察、探討樂齡者活動場域需求,再以「游藝學」為依據,發展出適合樂齡者增進認知學習與休閒娛樂之學習內容材料,冀希能滿足樂齡者較高層次的心理需求。藉由韌體設計的概念,將可連續性深化學習的內容材料轉換成一個可攜式之行動博物館,並以學習輸送的形式傳送到樂齡者的活動場域,體驗集學習與遊戲一體之「鄉土游藝舊物

新材」樂育學習系統,同時為了瞭解此一連續深化學習系統,對樂齡者是否有所助益,因此使用教育界常用之「行動研究法」來實施並以質量化資料分析及三方檢定驗證成果,其結果如下:1.本研究開發之「樂齡樂育學習系統」有益於樂齡者成功老化;2.系統實施時需有備品備案;3.互聯網視訊與影片可補志工作勤前訓練不足;4.空間過大時縮小範圍可作活動集中管理5.滿足學員當眾展示成就慾望,可增進樂齡者自信;6.本系統獲所有參與活動之受訪者正面評價。本文因此作成報告與建議,以供樂齡照護產業、教育工作者及設計界與學界,作為應用或研究改進之參考。
